The winding road was the point.
I’ve never had a straight-line career, and it took me a long time to stop apologizing for that. I can finally see it was never a detour. It was the whole point.
Where this started
I started in branding and design, learning how a business explains itself, how you take something messy and human and make it clear enough that other people get it in a second. That skill, taking the tangled thing and organizing it until it finally makes sense, turned out to be the same skill underneath everything I’ve done since, in design, in tech, and now in AI. Somewhere along the way I also went deep into how people think, learn, and change their patterns. I trained and worked as a coach, and I got a little obsessed with how belief shapes what people actually do. For a long time I kept that separate from my business work. I don’t anymore. Bringing AI into a company isn’t really a technology problem. It’s a people-and-patterns problem wearing a technology costume, and the human side is where most of it lives or dies.
Where it’s landed
I’m an AI systems architect who thinks like a designer, runs projects like an operator, and reads people like a coach. I find the patterns, in your business and in the way your team works, and I build the systems that fit them. The titles changed. The underlying work didn’t.
I love the big picture and the small wiring in equal measure. I’m at the point in my career where I finally trust that the winding road is exactly what made me good at this.
